we played at the bull %26 gate in london last night, right next door to the kentish town forum. a fairly luke-warm response was had by all, in between being hassled by some russian guy to take video footage of us and... being hassled by the same russian guy an hour later to buy that video footage from him. but you'll never guess who was there: gail porter! or, more accurately, gail porter.
for those of you who are american and don't care, gail porter was a rather famous english model for a few years who had her ass projected onto the houses of parliament and occasionally presented 'top of the pops'. recently however all the press coverage concerning gail has been the fact that she has lost all of her hair, forever, due to stress-induced alopecia. she's not a model anymore.
it was a little wierd to see someone who frequents the 'celebrity snaps' section of my girlfriend's magazines standing five feet away and mum-dancing to the bands that were playing. except us. she left while we were on. pfft. she did give us her email address, however, and from that i was able to find her myspace. buah ha haa!
