recepticle=<b>Sunday, March 19, 2006</b><br /><br /><b>your mother is a ball-point pen thief</b><br />i never got a chance to update before i left; i'm currently in chicago, recording <a href="http://www.twominutewarning.co.uk" target="_blank">my band's</a> debut album with <b>steve albini</b>. in fact he's sitting in front of me right now, suggesting that we should go for a drink later to a place called 'the hungry brain'.<br /><br />i'm pretty fucking tired, and i'm still suffering from a bit of cold (i actually stole some of steve's theraflu; don't tell him) but regardless, this is one of the most awesome experiences of my life.<br /><br />i'm going to go now. steve's telling us a story about a 'tamale guy' and it sounds fascinating. just like everything else in this zany country.<br /><br /> - posted by lawrie at 2:18 AM ~ <u><a href="asfunction:loadComments,114273518875232143">comments</a></u><br /><br />
